Sample Centerpiece Meetings

Today we wanted to take a moment and stress the importance of a sample centerpiece meeting. Usually this meeting is booked about 2 months before the wedding to ensure all the necessary flowers are in season. At this meeting, we create a mock up centerpiece and table decor for the client to preview before the big day. It's a great time for the bride and family to truly envision what the wedding will look like, and to make an necessary changes to create the exact look and feel the bride wants. Here are some things that should be discussed:
  • Colors & tones of the flowers
  • Flower choice & types
  • Container or Vase
  • Table decor (candle treatments & styles, base of the arrangement, etc.)
  • Napkin treatments
  • Linen, Chair, & Charger options
At this meeting, is also a good time to go through the entire proposal again to ensure all the details are still accurate. While the flowers are in front of you, it's easy to envision the detailed and smaller things such as the boutonnieres & bouquets. This may be the last time you meet with the florist before the wedding, so feel comfortable discussing anything that's on your mind.
