Last week, The Hidden Garden had the pleasure of working with the amazingly talented Debbie Geller from Geller Events. It was designed as a romantic birthday diner for 50...under the stars. The canopy above the dinner table was covered with birch branches, curly willow, clusters of hydrangea, and blossom branches. Keith from The Lighter Side hung the most magical chandeliers throughout the property and above the dining tables creating a sparkle in the sky. The dining tables were adorned with an eclectic mix of silver vessels filled with an array of florals in soft romantic hues and accented by candlelight. If the enchanted dinner canopy wasn't enough (remember this is only for 50 guests!) the ENTIRE pool was covered with over 200 dozen rose heads petaled to float atop the water! Just breathtaking! Can't wait to share the "night time" shots with you when we receive them from the photographer...stay tune!

The Hidden Garden Featured In Marni Jameson's Column
A couple weeks ago syndicated columnist and author, Marni Jameson, took a break from writing to get her hands dirty with all of us at The Hidden Garden on a busy, Wednesday morning. She rolled up her sleeves and took away some of my top-secret tips and tricks - you can read about them in this week's column here. Thanks again to Marni for all of her patience during summer wedding season and if that whole writing thing doesn't work out - you know where to find us!

Bridesmaids Floral Bouquets
Your bridesmaids are an accessory to your wedding decor. Yes, of course you love them dearly that's why you picked them to stand by your side, but they are there to "dress" the wedding with color! Picking the bouquet that compliments their bridesmaids dress is an important part of the overall look at the ceremony. I hope we can inspire you with color with these great bridesmaids bouquets.

Luxe Mitzvah
The Luxe off Sunset held a super cool B'Nai Mitzvah last Saturday, organized by Debbie Geller. The party was an earthly and natural mix of dark brown textures (wood boxes and tables) with green grass, curly willow branches, white dendrobium orchids, succulents, green cymbidium orchids and green mums. Special THANK YOU to Brian Kramer Photography for giving us a sneak peak at the wonderful pictures from the event!

Bird Cage Bridal Shower
The 'oh so' popular and loved bird cages at a Bridal Shower held at the Four Seasons Westlake Village. The rich colors and bronze cages complimented the room 'oh so' perfectly.
Sherwood Country Club goes Green & Purple
The bride & groom this weekend went all PURPLE & GREEN at Sherwood Country Club in Westlake Village. They did not skip a beat. All the arrangements were in custom painted purple and green vases with monochromatically grouped flowers in each vase. The bride carried all purple, while the bridesmaids carried all green bouquet to compliment their purple dresses. Each napkin was adorned with a strip of deep purple ribbon with a green button mum on each napkin. The look was complete!
With the help of Tobey Dodge from The Wedding Connection, the wedding went without a hitch (no pun intended!). We can't wait to see the professional pictures taken by Mi Belle Photography {stay tuned}!

Colorful Inspirations
Vibrant color combinations are always an eye catcher for any event. I love when clients are open to using color in the floral decor. The most basic arrangements come alive when color is incorporated. Who would have thought that orange, purple, yellow and red could all be used in the same display without looking like an out of control rainbow!! For this Batmitzvah luncheon....it was all about color and i just loved the results!
